The Taipei County Government was established. An Accounting Office, management of Budget, General Public Affairs Accounting and Special Public Affairs Accounting, were created under the County Magistrate. |
1947 |
The Taipei County Government Secretariat further established a statistics section to process statistic affairs. |
1950 |
The Taipei County Government Department Secretariat abolished the Statistics Section and the Accounting Office was renamed Budget, Accounting and Statistics Office, with the 4 sections Budget, Accounting, Special Accounting and Statistics. |
October,1999 |
On the 25th January 1999, the Taipei County Government announced the local system regulations, and drafted the “Taipei County Government Organization Autonomy Regulations”, the Budget, Accounting and Statistics Office was enlarged to 30 working personnel, with the rank of the Head changed from intermediate level to senior level. |
August, 2003 |
In order to enhance administrative efficiency, Taipei County Government established 9 districts and 17 Budget, Accounting and Statistics personnel in an concentrated location to utilize limited human resources to serve the offices and school of the county government. |
October, 2007 |
Taipei County was elevated to special municipality and the original the Budget, Accounting and Statistics Office was changed to Budget, Accounting and Statistics Department. This also brought on the establishment of 5 Division, 3 offices (Secretariat, Personnel Office and Civil Service Ethics Office), increase of personnel to 93 (including Deputy Director-General, Chief Secretary, and Assistant Director-general each). |
December, 2010 |
Once the Taipei County has been elevated to special municipality, 5 sections (Division 1, Division 2, Division 3, Division 4, Division 5), 4 offices (Secretariat, Personnel Office, Accounting Office, and Civil Service Ethics Office) have been implemented according to the “Organic Regulations of Department of Budget, Accounting and Statistics, New Taipei City Government” regulations, and this adjustment includes one Deputy Director-General and one Assistant Director-general), with a total of 93 personnel. |
September, 2013 |
Correction of the name of the organization’s internal offices. The first division was changed to General Fund Budget Division, the second division changed to Special Fund Budget Division, the third division changed to official Statistics Division, the fourth section changed to Economic Statistics Division, and the fifth division changed to Accounting and Financial Reporting Division. |
